Have you ever felt overwhelmed by life? Like a victim to fate? That you have no real say over your life?
Maybe you’ve had one of those moments (or many), where you felt like you had no control over external events. That someone and everyone had or has, more power over your thoughts, feelings and actions than you do?
If so, you are not alone. I’ve been there, lived it, struggled through it, and found a way out.
If you would like to take back your self power and break free from victimization, the first thing to do is –
Believe that your thoughts, beliefs and feelings control your every choice and action in life!
If you struggle to understand this, then this is the very reason why you are a victim to fate.
We are all born into unhealthy beliefs structures, in one form or another. Of course, there is a deeper and higher personal evolutionary reason behind this. But for now, suffice it to say that you are who you are today because of these family beliefs.
However, You do not need to be a victim to these beliefs.
You see, here is the kicker, by the time we hit our teens and early 20’s we are so caught up in being someone or something that we are not; to please our family, peers and society. Or, maybe to rebel, because deep down inside, we know these beliefs are not right; but we don’t know how to break free of them other than to go to extremes.
Either way, you are a pleaser and forsaken your true self to fit in, or you are a rebel and forsaken your true self to avoid fitting in!
What ever STATE you resonate with inside, you become that person. That person is not the TRUE YOU!
Whether you believe you are a victim, a loner, an athlete, ugly or beautiful, it is all simply your perception of your external self. Not who you truly are inside. Inside we are all divinely perfect. You can change your perception if you choose to.
I’m not saying it’s easy, but it is totally possible.
You have to be ready and willing to want to change. You have to find your own inner strength, in order to change an old belief. Only you can change you!
If you are truly ready to transform yourself, and break free from the victimization in you life; then –
All you need to do is;
Decide what you want to change,
Ask for help,
Begin to believe in a new possibility,
Put in the conscious effort every day,
to change what you don’t like – to what you do,
By infusing yourself with the new thoughts and emotions,
you want to have.
Be prepared to feel uncomfortable while transitioning.
One tiny step every day, will take you further than no step!
What you think and feel, enforces what you believe and vis-a-versa. So the trick to changing an old belief, is changing your thoughts, the emotions those thoughts create and your outer actions to enforce your new beliefs about yourself.
Just as your inner beliefs create your outer reality, your inner state creates your outer health. In other words, if you believe you are a victim, you enforce this state with your thoughts, feelings and actions. Which then creates outer events and circumstances to enforce what you believe.
People will always treat you according to the energy you put out. Whether, you believe this or not.

The reason we become a victim in life is due to a sense of powerlessness.
Society has not evolved enough, to know how to properly infuse a sense of true, unconditional self love into the individual.
We are all born into some form of oppression. Enforced, often seemingly right rules and dictations, that are supposed to help us be “good citizens”. However, these are all outer rules that allow no freedom of self expression and self exploration through a loving heart. Thus, it creates a sense of negativity and rigidity that shrinks our soul life.
This shrinking of our individual soul life leads to confusion, loss of a sense of self, anger, frustration, rebellion and/or depression.
Once sunk into this state of confusion and emotional chaos, it is hard to pull one’s self out, without a great amount of determination and external support.
Finding the right support system that resonates with who you feel you are, is key to overcoming this victimized and oppressed state.
Which leads me full circle to my list of how to break free from the victimization in you life. Scroll back up and read it now from this new perspective and self reflection.
