Unconditional Love

There is nothing more significant in life than unconditional love! Unconditional love is free of any expectations. It is love in its purist form.

Unconditional love from our parents is the most significant factor in our own ability to love ourselves fully! It would be a beautiful thing, if every single person was raised with and taught, unconditional love and self-ownership.

When we love ourselves unconditionally, we know and honor ourselves fully. We know how to say YES or NO to others, depending on what is correct for ourselves first and foremost. We know how to eat according to what is right for our own unique self. We know when to stretch ourselves to achieve our hearts desire when our energy is high and when to rest and allow ourselves to heal and rejuvenate when our energy is low. Our health at a psychological, emotional and physical level is balanced because we know and love ourselves fully. Self-awareness, Self-worth, and Self-knowledge are complete.

True unconditional love can heal all wounds on every level of our existence!

When we love ourselves unconditionally we give back to the world unconditionally without sacrificing our own unique SELF! To Love ourselves fully, means that we honor our own true self. In other words, we have a true sense of Self-Worth.

I have worked for a long time resolving my own armored layers of diseased states of mind. I have come to fully appreciate unconditional love, not only for myself but for another. I never fully understood what it meant to give or receive love until I had freed myself of a lot of unhealthy beliefs I had acquired.

The book, ‘The Velveteen Rabbit’ was my favorite book growing up. I never understood why until recently. Every great work of art, whether a painting, movie or book has the ability to resonate with our soul and spirit. When we resonate with a particular piece, it is because we relate to it emotionally and psychologically due to our own inner state. It brings certain thoughts and feelings to the surface of our consciousness so we can understand ourselves better.

As a Health Care Provider, nothing is more disheartening than to experience how so many individuals have no sense of self-worth or self-love. We live in a society of mainly material existence. We are only loved conditionally. As long as we act in a certain way, according to the mythical tenants laid out by some religion or belief system, than we can be loved. What a load of Crock!

Unconditional love is universal and always there for everyone to accept at any time, no questions asked! The key is in the choosing and accepting.

My wish is for everyone to learn to love themselves unconditionally. It can be a difficult thing to accept, especially if you have been taught from the day you where born that you do not deserve true self love.

So what I propose to those who feel they would like to be able to accept unconditional self love, is to take one small step each day towards it.

Every single day, wake up, go to your personal mirror, look at yourself in all sincerity and declare – “I love myself unconditionally!” I guarantee that for many it will be hard and will feel awkward and untrue at first. But for the sake of your own personal health, be willing to persevere.

The first time I did this exercise, I thought I was going to actually throw up, I felt so horrible saying it, like I was doing something so wrong. Which is crazy I know, but that is what I felt. Eventually that feeling gave way, and I became sad, and wanted to cry every time I said it, because I knew I didn’t believe it. I actually felt like I didn’t deserve it. Thankfully I persevered, and over time I began to accept and believe that I did deserve to love myself, because heck who else could or should love me so much!

Changing beliefs is one of the hardest things to do on your own. Finding help and guidance is also an important key. There are loads of people who are dedicating their lives, like myself, to helping as many people as we can, to reach this ultimate goal.

Some amazing Homeopathic/Tonic remedies that can also help to establish self worth are;

Aurum metallicum; For the individual who takes life way to seriously, only to discover that no matter how hard they try, they cannot make any one else happy. which cause the individual to become depressed with their life. The remedy will help them to strengthen their sense of self, thus, helping to enlighten them to the importance of themselves.

Anacardium; For those individuals who feel the need to prove themselves due to their inner feeling of inferiority and low self-esteem. In later stages these individuals find life completely overwhelming and are unable to make any true life decisions.

Lycopodium; For the individual who needs to belittle others in order to make themselves feel better. The classic bully or the victim of bullying if raised in an extreme peace keeping home! Problems with low confidence and self-esteem, which leads them to withdraw from life to cope.

Baryta carbonica: These individuals are shy, need constant reassurance and are generally delayed in development due to their lack of self-confidence. There is a great deal of inferiority which also leads to great fear and anxiety, leading even further in to their shyness.

As always when working with homeopathic/tonic remedies for mental, emotional issues, it is best to start with either a 200 ch or 1M then work up to higher potencies slowly as you feel ready to dig deeper at this issue. As long as a remedy appears to be working, stay with the same potency until it feels like the state is creeping up on you again, then go one step higher, or deeper. If the remedy does not seem to be helping at all then find another one that you feel suits you.  Remember, homeopathic remedies used from a 12 ch up cannot create any new issue like conventional medicine. If you feel an aggravation it is due to the remedy actually shifting your inner state that you may not be ready to let go of yet, so simply stop the remedy for a while and let your soul rest!

Finding your own self-worth and unconditional love of self can be a scary and difficult journey, but one well worth taking. Be patient with yourself during the ups and downs of self discovery. Rome was not built in a day!

Hopefully this blog has given you some things to think about, regarding your own journey of self healing. If so, please let me know. : )

In True Resonant Health,

Have a glorious week,

There is No Joy in Mudville!

Do you often feel frustrated and annoyed by the actions and words of people around you?

Do you know, that these feelings are actually your own and not BECAUSE of the other person?

In other words, your emotions are yours alone.

No one can make you FEEL anything you don’t want to.

Unless you are carrying so much suppressed and hidden emotional baggage that the universe is trying to help you become aware of!!

This is what happens in our lives.

External events, are simply a mirror reflection of what is really going on inside of us!

HUH, Who Knew!

However, if you are confronted by someone else’s anger, frustration, anxiety or chaos and it DOESN’T AFFECT you, then it’s NOT YOUR STUFF!

Recently I was confronted several times by very pure outward Rage! Funny how life likes to throw things at you, when you put your own Self out “there”. I always look at life’s occurrence, as a great way to know that I have accomplished so much in my own healing journey.

I was at a speaking engagement on the weekend and there was a fellow who was hanging on to so much anger and rage, that he could not contain it at all. Every word was spoken with harsh critical remarks and if his belief did not match any one else’s he was sure to comment. The tension around him was quite noticeable. All I kept imagining when he spoke was of an angry bull contained in a very tight enclosure with no way to properly discharge his pent up rage. My heart went out to him.

He definitely was in need of my Anger and Frustration kit!

I can not imagine living life with so much seething rage that I cannot ever feel or experience Love and Joy!

Every emotion that overwhelms us, such as grief, anger and fear, blocks us from living freely in pure Joy and Love.

So what do we do about these emotions? We all know that you can not be human without having any emotions.

We all know that every single emotion has a purpose. We experience every emotion in response to life and our participation within life. They are used to bring our Awareness, to something that is not right within or outside us. We then use them to help us resolve, release and free ourselves from the event.

We are all conscious individuals who are on a journey to self discovery and in search of our own “perfect” Soul and  Spiritual life.

We need to begin to honour and own our emotional and mental states.

Once we begin to recognize that every emotion we feel is our own and is there for a reason; we can begin to work on resolving the ones that are buried deeply.

Those thoughts, beliefs and emotions that are not allowing us to live in Joy, Freedom and Love most of the time. When we hang on to past emotional and psychological trauma’s it creates a memory pattern about that event. Once the pattern has been locked in to place within our very cellular and energetic makeup, then we actually create a life that reflects these trauma’s.

Our beliefs and emotions control our physical body. Our musculature is the outward expresser of our e-motions (energy in motion).

If you take the time to reflect on your own life story you will see the way life continues to play out in a very specific way for you. Look at the emotional  events that keep recurring in your life.

What state keeps “Affecting” you?

The only way you will ever be free of old emotional and psychological patterns is to first recognize them.

Bring them in to the light of day. Then reflect on them and try to come up with the message behind their energy. Once you can understand and honour what that message is for you, then you can begin to let it go.

Letting go of unresolved trauma’s can be very difficult to do on your own. Trust me I know, because I have been working on this for many years and sometimes objective outside help is needed for you to see clearly.

From my own personal and professional repertory, here are some suggestions that worked for me.

Dynamic Medicine and Homotonic remedies that address the specific emotions or beliefs you are stuck in, such as;

Natrum Muriaticum – Past events that create a sense of loss and being let down, where by the individual feels the need to close themselves off in order to protect themselves are cleared well with this remedy.

Staphysagria – Patterns of frustration and situations in life where the individual feels like they are stuck and can not change clear well with this remedy. As well as individuals who feel they are suppressed or dominated, because they have no power of self.

Lachesis – The resentful and jealousy remedy. The need to ‘keep up with the Jones’s’ state of mind in order to prove your self worth.

Baryta Carbonicum – The fear that life does not support you, when in fact it is your own lack of trust in yourself.

Aurum metallicum – The big classic depression remedy, which stems from no sense of self worth.

There of course are tons of other individual remedies used to properly release specific emotions and beliefs.

Another useful tool to release past trauma is; Theta Healing. This is a wonderful technique you can learn or find a qualified practitioner to help you work through old destructive belief patterns and release them.

Daily Affirmations, are another wonderful way to change your negative, unhealthy thoughts to clearer more productive ones. The key to affirmations however, is that you must instill the feeling work along with the words. If you can not truly imagine how the new state would feel and affect your life then the affirmation will not stick!

Orgonomic body work, is a process whereby the practitioner will help the individual discover what area of the body is blocked/armored. Then there are specific exercises used to help the individual release the blocked and stagnant emotional and/or psychological energy at the biological level. When this is done, all realms are freed; emotional, psychological and physical. One of my favorite exercises to release the cervical and thoracic area is doing deep out breathes with a strong and loud HUH. Another one is actually simply screaming to the cosmos and letting what ever words, and emotions need to come up and out to be released with what ever intensity is needed to reach a state of pure relaxation!

If you find that trying to be objective with your own, beliefs and emotions is difficult then you may find that working with someone like myself would help. I would be able to help you free yourself in a more timely and efficient way.

A Wholistic Look at Stress and Cardiovascular Health!

There are many misconceptions about what causes high cholesterol and heart attacks.

Did you know that your Stress affects your Cardiovascular Health?

Do you watch what you eat; thinking that this is going to help your stress and Cardiovascular health?

If so, what foods are you avoiding and do you know if this is really helping?

Although you do ingest cholesterol from over processed food sources and fatty, grain fed meats; this is actually not a factor as to why you may be suffering from “high cholesterol.”

The fact that most people simply avoid “high fat” foods, believing this will lower cholesterol is a misnomer.

This common approach has caused a whole generation of individuals to be deficient in omega 3 fatty acids, which is a leading cause in arthritis.

In fact, cholesterol is a fat molecule that is created by your liver. It is the precursor to steroidal hormones, it manufactures vitamin D, and it repairs damaged tissue, which confirms the importance and need for healthy cholesterol levels.

When LDL cholesterol is seen in high percentage within your blood stream, it is not just because you have taken it in from high fat foods and is now clogging your arteries. It is due to several complex factors, which stem from within your bodies for the most part.

One of the main and unknown factors of high cholesterol is emotional and/or psychological stress, that have occurred over extended periods of time.

This extensive stress affects your physical body, by constantly expanding your arteries to create more blood flow to help mobilize you for the stressful situation. You are in a typical flight or fight response, which becomes a problem when it is chronic, and goes on for long periods of time.

This chronic long term stress on your arteries, creates damage, small tears and stretching that requires repair. It is the cholesterol that is produced by your liver that repairs this soft tissue. However long term stress, requires constant repairing.

This constant manufacturing of cholesterol to repair damaged arteries means there is going to be a build up and clogging of arteries over time. All because you have never stopped the original cause – the STRESS!

To stop this vicious circle takes some serious self reflection and changes in your life.

  • When you are aware that you are feeling stressed during the day, take a few minutes to do some deep breathing. Take full deep breathes in to your abdomen, be sure that your out breathe is longer than the in breathe since the out breathe is the relaxing one.
  • There are a number of different homeopathic remedies that can be employed to help you release stress, the key is to find out what you stress about and how it affects you. Two of the top remedies I employ are Aconite and Ignatia. When dealing with mental and emotional issues it is always best to start with these remedies at a 1M potency and go up from there. Another great support product is the Bach flower rescue remedy.
  • Try to empty your mind of any unwanted thoughts that are helping feed the stress. If you can not do anything about the problem you are stressing about right now then let it go! Come back to it when you are more able to fully deal with it.If you have trouble simply emptying your mind then find something positive to focus on for a few minutes and allow the good emotions that go along with it to well up within you. This will distract you from the old negative thought for a while to allow your stress level to go down. For more qualitative support on eliminating stress, check out my Healing Kit – Stress, Anxiety & Overwhelm kit!
  • Clean up your diet, removing any over processed foods and foods that are fried or full of bad fats. As this only adds more stress to your digestive system, which your liver is a part of!
  • Cleanse your liver, gallbladder and bowels so that they are working more efficiently. By taking a high potency- 30 to 60 billion count of a multi probiotic, you will enhance your immune system and replenish your bowel with good healthy productive bacteria. To cleanse your liver, work with Chinese herbal bitters that are specific to helping open up and clean out toxins from your liver and gallbladder. Homeopathic remedies that can help are; Chelidonium, Nux Vomica, Lycopodium. You can get my Whole Body Detox Kit right here!
  • Get some exercise! Any form of exercise will help release endorphins, which help to lift your mood and make you feel good. Exercise also releases tension, provided you are not over-extending yourself during your exercise.
  • Add some support supplements for adrenal stress. A high B supplement taken according to manufacturing standards will go a long way to helping you cope with stress in a more level manor.

Every organ and organ system is essential in its own way. Being aware of your own body and how it functions in both health and illness will go a long way in helping you to make corrective decisions in time to maintain your own true health.

Get outside, breathe deeply today and enjoy life.

Have a health inspiring week,
