Do you struggle to lose weight?

Or, feeling as fit and energized as you want to be?
I know I certainly have.
It has been a long road of taking care of my health over the last 35 years and during it I have discovering amazing things about myself.
I always knew I had a horrible digestive system. I’d frequently have debilitating bowel cramps, diarrhea, nausea, constant belching, hypoglycemic reactions, bloating and weight gain. Which would all lead to chronic fatigue and headaches.
When I first got sick as a teenager the one thing I worked the most on was my digestion, nutrition and detoxing. And for a few years this seemed to be enough to fall back on every time my symptoms would creep back.
Life events would lead me down a self destructive path and I’d start to eat those crappy North American comfort foods and I’d be right back where I started.
That is about the time I discovered Dynamic Medicine and as I worked on the underlying emotional, mental, inherited and karmic trauma’s, the physical also cleared a great deal.
The problem was, that by this time my physical body had found a pattern, I was stuck in insulin resistance and no matter how clean I thought I was eating with a Paleo style diet, I couldn’t seem to shake the fatigue and moderate weight gain.
 Then a couple years ago life presented me with a great opportunity – Ketopia!
Now I had known about Nutritonal Ketosis about 20 years ago, but every time I tried to get there on my own through restrictive dieting (aka cutting out ALL sugar in every form) I couldn’t make it.
I’d get such extreme detox symptoms from the dumping of the glycogen out of my cells that I would be literally debilitated in bed with a migraine and bowel pains.
So I’d give up.
When Forever Green, the supplement company I joined a couple years ago, came out with a product, created by a doctor to help put the body into Nutritional ketosis, easier and without most of the side effects; I was in!!
 I wrote about that first experience here – 
I did the program off and on for 3 months and over that time I went from a size 9/10 to a 5/6 with little difficulty and only moderate exercise. (really didn’t change my exercise routine at all). 
Oddly enough however, my weight did not go down nearly as much as I wanted it to. I started around 154 pounds and ended around 140 pounds. I had wanted to get to 125 pounds.
But here is the thing. When in Nutritional ketosis, you don’t lose water weight and you retain all your muscle mass (it’s a biological factor of the survival mechanism that is ketosis). 
So after this initial loss, I was happy and just cruised along for the next 3/4 of a year maintaining that weight loss easily through mainly a Ketogenic lifestyle, with the odd cheat day each week.
NOW –  it’s a new year and I figure heck, I have a great system and new knowledge about how to help my body, not only get rid of unwanted and unhealthy fat that stores toxins and created havoc with all of our systems; but can also help me lean out my body even more, so I can achieve my dream physical physic!!

How to Heal a Head Injury

Find out how you can heal a head injury, quickly, effectively and naturally!

Head injuries certainly seem to be on the rise.

Maybe it’s just that we are hearing more about them.

Or maybe, it’s that we are more susceptible to the problems that can be created, by a head trauma?

As kids, we never wore helmets for anything. Maybe because of this, we unconsciously protected our head more during play or activities.

Now that we are wearing helmets, we think we’re were covered, so we can go harder or faster?

One thing is for sure, the more we are protecting ourselves, the more severe the injuries are becoming.

In any case, I’m sure you’ll agree, we are hearing more and more about head injuries and more and more of these injuries are leading to serious health problems.

No more are there simple headache, a bit of rest for a few days, then you’re good to go!

Head injuries are creating long term, serious health concerns. That may or may not ever be resolved. At least that is what I am hearing and seeing.

However, there is good news for the majority of you who are struggling with an acute (new) or chronic (old) head trauma.

You CAN heal a head injury.

A head injury or trauma should not be a life sentence of life long problems.

There are a variety of support tools that are available to everyone. That will help your body to release, rejuvenate and restore full health for the vast majority of head injuries.

So let’s look at these tools!

How to Heal a Head Injury

  1. Get qualitative sleep. Your body has the ability to heal itself, provided it has the right support and there is nothing blocking it’s ability (see further ideas) But initially, one of the best ways to allow your body time to heal is to sleep. Take it easy, relax and don’t over tax your body.
  2. Clear the trauma with my Trauma Release kit! Be sure to request a set of “sequential powders” for a head trauma. The best way to be sure there is no blockage in your life force to heal is to clear the trauma with Dynamic Medicine. Dynamic Medicine is the best and most natural way to release any damage done to the life force, first at an energetic level. Allowing the life force to be free to fully clean up the damage that has occurred on every level.

My Ketopia Experience – Week Two

Week two officially started on Saturday September 19th. This blog actually is final results for my first 20 days on Ketopia!

I started out, basically following similar protocols as the first week.

Wake at 6 am, have my bullet coffee, wait at least half hour after I am done to have my Ketonix drink.

Weigh myself at around 10 am. Mind you my scale battery died, thought this was interesting. So had to wait until I got a battery several days later to check weight. Weight was still the same.

What is interesting is that over that first weekend, even though my energy all day was much more stable, I wasn’t getting as many headaches, but still some. The protocols were becoming easier to follow with less need to snack to feel supported. I had some all over body stiffness. Nothing excessive or severe and only later in the day. Like I had overexerted myself all day and once I sat down to relax after dinner, when I went to get up I felt stiff. 

From a practitioner’s perspective, I am thinking this has to do with toxins and glucose being released from the tissue and joints. As the body begins to burn fats more efficiently for fuel, and relies less on the sugar/insulin, a clearing of old waste material has to set in. As the old toxins get pulled from deep within the tissue, it often creates inflammation.

Also I began to wonder if I was somehow blocking my ketosis as I tended to still fall out of ketosis by the afternoon. 

In true healing, if there has been degeneration or any kind of damage,

than inflammation and mobilization must take place in order to restore and heal.

Along with this, I also had looser bowels in the mornings, like my body needed to clear deep old shit (literally!). Afterwards I would often feel lighter and more energized, not weaker or ill. Which indicates a clearing and healing.


Monday September 21 2015 is my official end of the first 10 day reset pack.

Weight – 

148, a loss of 6 pounds.

Measurements –

Chest 36

Waist 34 1/2

Hips 40

Upper arms 12 1/2

Upper thighs 23 1/2

Total loss so far = 4 inches

 As of day 8 I stopped losing weight. This continued for the next 4 – 5 days. I started getting headaches again and energy was lower. Testing and just by how I felt I knew I still wasn’t truly staying in full Ketosis.

So I began to do some more research. My gut was telling me it was the single bullet coffee. As well, being an O blood type I know that pasteurized dairy has a tendency to cause food sensitivities symptoms and disrupt my metabolism.

Even though there is no known study that shows coffee disrupts ketosis, I know that it can spike insulin levels. And, since I am insulin sensitive aka have metabolic syndrome I figured this would have to go, to at least test and see what happens.

So on Day 13 I decided to stop my morning coffee and do more nuts with my afternoon veggie snack instead of cheese.

BINGO! The next day, I had lost 1 pound. My headache was gone and for once I was not hungry AT ALL. DANG it, I really like that one coffee in the morning, more for the smell and initial taste. However, if it means I can feel better and lose weight then it will be gone for the duration.

By the end of the second 10 day reset, I had lost a total of 10 pounds and 5 1/4 body inches.

What is interesting, is that when I started this program, I was certain with my level of health that I would easily burn 1 pound a day like the men. However, when I hadn’t I was a bit bummed. 

While discussing this with my husband he reminded me that normally it would take me a good 6 – 8 weeks to lose 10 pounds in the past. He was right, normally I would do a fall cleanse and minimized, clean eating program, with reductions for 3 weeks. Often I would feel cranky, and tired and more achey, and super hungry for weeks during this program.

With Ketopia, once I hit full Ketosis I was never hungry, in fact often have to make myself eat something for dinner, just to get calories. 

My mood has been really high and very stable. Certainly no mood swings and instead of melting on the couch by 9 pm and wanting to go to bed I am bouncing around until 11 pm and going to bed because I know I need to not because I can’t possibly make it if I don’t! 

I sleep amazing, and wake feeling good, with no aches or pains.

All and all I am loving this program and the benefits and support it has given my weight loss regime.

I feel so much more alive and energized. 

As a Health Practitioner of many years, I have been doing some more investigating into why my weight loss is so much slower than I had expected. One insight that came to me while listening to “Lunch with Michelle La Seuer” was that testosterone is one of the key reasons that men are able to lose weight so much faster than women. 

This brought up an interesting point for me. About 2 years ago I had a full blood analysis done to determine the scope of my physical health. Truthfully I was hoping to be close to Peri-menopause and move on with the next evolutions of becoming a “wise” woman. 

However my blood work showed everything in perfect balance and no sign of Perimenopause. I was however, a tad low in progesterone and quite low in testosterone – BINGO. If I am low in testosterone, than my bodies ability to burn fat will be slower than if it was in the normal range. 

The same goes for all your hormones. If any of your hormones are severely out of balance, than your whole endocrine system will be slow. Which, will reflect back to your metabolic system and the rate at which you will process and clear.

Ketopia is an incredibly well thought out system to help everyone lose weight, by reminding the body how to utilize and burn fats for energy. Instead of relying heavily, only on the glucose/sugar, insulin cycle. 

In true health both must be maintained in proper balance.

This being said, every one of us is at a different place in our life. So many factors can determine how well we will be able to utilize this program; age, level of health, existing weight, lifestyle, food choices, beliefs and so on. Any one of these can block us or slow down this process. 

Yet, no matter where each of us are, if you follow the program and do your own due diligence, listen to your body and make self affirming choices;

you will lose weight and begin to feel great!
